Stio Mountain Bike Clothing Review

Stio recently updated its OPR mountain bike bottoms with Pertex Equilibrium NetPlus, a high-performance fabric made from recycled fishing nets, bringing a more sustainable construction that delivers the stretch, moisture management, and durability riders need for long days on the trail. The refreshed shorts and pants also feature improved pocket construction, a more refined waist adjustment system, and strategically placed perforated panels to boost airflow on hot rides. Paired with the lightweight, moisture-wicking, Shifter Shirt, the kit is built to handle everything from after-work singletrack laps to all-day backcountry adventures.

The OPR Men’s shorts come in 2 lengths a 9″ and a 11.5″ , I’m wearing the 9″, size 32 waist, I am 5’10” and about 170lbs. I am wearing the Shifter Shirt in a size Medium. I think they fit very true to size. Overall, it’s a great loose comfortable fit. They are highly recommended with great reviews on Stio.com from hundreds of users. Stio is also very responsive to reviews on their website where some uses have had some concerns about the fit.

I like the added pockets on the thigh that are angled and easy to access when on a bike. Having a technical short feature designed for the outdoors just makes sense to me. The shirt retails for $129, and the shorts for $149.
