Finding high-quality firearms, ammunition, and tactical gear on a budget requires patience and the right strategy. Palmetto State Armory (PSA) is renowned for providing incredible value, but maximizing your savings means knowing exactly how to navigate their site. Here is your ultimate guide to bagging the best deals for your next build.
1. The Seasonal Calendar & Daily Deals
Unlike brands that rely solely on annual events, PSA’s core model revolves heavily around their rotating online deals.
- Major Holidays: You can expect massive sitewide savings during major events like Black Friday and their Labor Day Deals. Check for Holiday Sales Here
- Daily Deals Timing: PSA updates these offers multiple times a day, historically around noon and 5 PM, or simply whenever newly manufactured parts are ready to ship. Check Todays Daily Deals on PalmettoStateArmory.com
- Clearance & Rebates: Always check the dedicated Closeout sections for discontinued items, as well as the rebate pages for factory offers like Beretta prepaid cards.
2. Shop the Blemished (“Blem”) Sales
If you don’t mind a minor scratch or slightly uneven finish, PSA’s “Blem” section is your best friend.
- Mechanical Reliability: Blemished items are 100% mechanically sound but feature minor cosmetic defects from the factory. See All Blem Sales Here
- Top Strategy: Buying a Blem stripped lower receiver or complete upper is the undisputed best way to start an AR-15 build on a tight budget.
3. Shipping Hacks & Military Discounts
Shipping costs on heavy items can eat into your savings, and understanding their discount structure is key.
- Free Shipping: Keep a close eye out for items specifically tagged with a “Free Shipping” label to save a significant chunk of change at checkout.
- Online Military Policy: PSA does not currently publish a universal military discount code for online orders. Online shoppers should rely on the official Coupons and Promotions pages instead.
- In-Store Deals: If you live near one of their twelve retail stores in South Carolina, Georgia, or North Carolina, military discounts are sometimes offered at the store’s discretion.
4. PSA Coupon Codes & Off-Season Savings
- PSA rarely offers sitewide promo codes, preferring to mark prices down directly on the product page.
- GearChase.com keeps deals front and center on tactical and hunting products across the web.
- Join the GearChase.com newsletter for automated alerts the moment a rare PSA promo code drops.
