KETL Mountain Apparel – Bike Sock Review

I had a chance to ride in these socks from KETL Mountain Apparel. Overall, they feel extremely high quality, which matches the price. KETL also backs them with an excellent warranty — if you have any issues, they’ll repair or replace them.

The color on the socks shows where the padding is thicker. The black in the heel and under the balls of the feet and toe is a thicker, more dense material, which is where the majority of the wear would be. They’re not so thick that they make the shoes uncomfortable, or that you even notice them — they just feel a little more comfortable.

I tend to lean towards a thinner sock, and these are thicker than I would typically wear cycling. But because of the fit, elasticity, and quality of material, I find myself reaching for these more and more frequently.

This image shows the additional cushioning stitched into the sock. You can see there’s a high-quality attachment point, whereas some socks that follow a similar manufacturing process begin to fall apart soon after wearing.

This shows off the stretchiness of the socks, with my hand in them for scale.

These are quite a bit more expensive than your standard six-pack of socks. But if you’re someone who likes high quality and increased comfort, I definitely think you’d like these.
